level counseling services. As a graduate of University of Maryland, Baltimore specializing in Clinical Social Work with a mental health concentration; she served as the acting
Clinical Director of a non-profit and is now fully devoted to building her group practice.

Katia's style is interactive, relational, neurobiological and attachment based; using various evidence-based practices. Her therapeutic approach focuses on identifying and challenging current thinking patterns, nervous system mapping, as well as past familial and personal experiences to change lives from the inside out. Katia is present and attuned in session, adapting services to meet the needs of her clients. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client utilizing multiple referrals to variety of complementary medicines. Katia completed Level 1 Trauma Training with Lisa Ferentz, LCSW-C, is a certified Safe & Sound Facilitator, is an EMDR Certified, and currently an EMDRIA Approved Consultant-in-Training (CIT).
